Just 2 law clerks filed complaints against federal judges last year: the complaint process is broken

LAP’s President & Founder, Aliza Shatzman, discusses the massive headwinds law clerks face when they encounter judicial misconduct and abuse: not only are they not offered any legal protections against retaliation, they are strongly disincentivized to speak out.

This past year, only two clerks filed complaints against federal judges. It’s clear that the complaint system is fundamentally broken.
